Trifecta – Weekend Challenge – Virtue Has It’s Own Reward

Prompt:    This weekend we are asking for exactly 33 words, 30 of your own and three of the following:

topple     paradigm     underneath     nerve     honey     loop

It touched every nerve of her body to know of these unkind, undeserved rumors spread about her character;

 but underneath these propagated lies,

lay the unmitigated truth.

  1. Sometimes, or maybe, oftentimes, people are so quick to make judgments about others. How sad it is that people’s reputations are ruined even before someone even gets the chance to know them.

    • There is a link to the word Prompt… you sign up to follow and you get a weekly challenge usually between 33 and 333 words on a topic they give and then a weekend challenge of usually 33 words unless they tell you differently… After you do the post you link your post url on their web page… It’ll say link up and they ask for your url, name (any name) and email (it think) And you copy their logo to put on your post… I’m not really in the league of some or most of the entrants but I like to try sometimes… If you want any more info just ask…Follow my link…ie the word prompt…Diane

    • I keep telling myself that I’m not going to try anymore because the competition from the ‘regulars’ seems overwhelming….but then occasionally…I think…’ well I’ll see what comes out’ but I mainly know it’s for myself…I’ll never ‘win the challenge’ I’m not creative enough to spin a good tale…. The ‘weekly’ ones I don’t attempt very often again for the same reason… Ahhhh well!…Hope you have a good day too..Diane

  2. Rumour mongers are the worst!What pleasure they get out of assassinating someone’s character,I always fail to comprehend!Well,as I always have believed,calling someone a dog will not make them one but beware you may get bitten by a real one some day :-)Well written Diane:-)
